Representatives of Salad Greenhouse Worldwide Ltd. and Artemis & Angel Co. Ltd. met with AgroAlala Ltd. on 4th December 2017 in Katsina, Katsina State to finalise a partnership in the HIMMA Project, which is funded by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Salad Greenhouse Ltd. will provide the bio-fertilisers, Salad Green Bio-Plant and Salad Green Pro-Plant, to enable 2,000 farmers in Katsina State to grow tomatoes.
The project, if successful, will start the ball rolling in the phasing out of chemical agriculture from the state over coming years and in making farming a much more profitable enterprise than at present. The soil in Katsina State has become very poor as a result of many years of chemical agriculture, and the use of the bio-fertilisers will enable the 2,000 farmers to start the process of restoring the fertility of their soil.
